As part of council’s urban drainage improvement program, construction works to upgrade drainage at the Wyndham/Hayes St intersection are scheduled to commence on Monday 1 September 2014. The works will continue for three weeks subject to weather conditions.
The works will cause a temporary inconvenience on the Wyndham St side of Hayes St and we ask for the community’s compliance with all the traffic management signage and arrangements.
The works will be conducted in three phases to reduce disruption to traffic, but vehicles will be diverted in both directions from two lanes to one. During Phase 2 a limited number of vehicles will be required to divert via Maude St and Sobraon St.
For further information regarding the works, please contact David Barraclough, Capital Works Planning Coordinator on (03) 5832 9760.
