With the installation of the new water mains completed, Council’s contractors have been working with Goulburn Valley Water to coordinate decommissioning of the old water mains to changeover to the new water mains. The changeover works are to be completed in two stages to minimise the impact of interruption to the schools and local traffic.
The two remaining changeover dates have been scheduled as follows:
Goulburn Valley Water will contact any properties whose water will be affected by these works in accordance with their customer service policy.
Access to properties will not be affected by these works.
Tenders for the additional water main replacement works required to accommodate the indented parking on Balaclava and New Dookie Roads are currently being advertised.
For more information visit the project page.
