About the claims process
Claim investigation
The completed claim for compensation form will be assessed by Echelon Claims Services, who are an independent third party.
Echelon will acknowledge receipt of your claim, review the claim information provided and request any further information which may be required in order to assess your claim. The Claims Consultant will provide their details so that you can contact them directly with any queries.
Claim outcome
Echelon Claims Services will endeavour to process your claim as soon as possible; however the process timeframe can depend on further investigations that may need to be undertaken.
This process can take approximately eight weeks.
If your claim is denied, you may request a further review if you have additional evidence to provide or seek your own independent legal advice.
If your claim is successful, you may be asked to complete some additional forms to facilitate the finalisation of your claim, including payment of any agreed settlement amount.
