MILS (Multilingual Information Line Service)
MILS (Multilingual Information Line Service) is a telephone service that provides access to a range of Council information through pre-recorded messages or connection to an interpreter and one of Council’s Citizens Service Officers.
Pre-recorded information about Council’s Services are available in Arabic, English, Dari and Sudanese Arabic.
Services include:
- Aged, Disability and Access and Inclusion
- Immunisation and Family and Children Services
- Rates
- Waste and Recycling
- Libraries and Leisure Centres
- Parking
- Animal Registration and Payments
- Emergency Services
Connection to an interpreter is available in up to 140 languages.
