Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise the community that road rectification works will take place at the Old Dookie Road / Andrew Fairley Avenue / Lockwood Road intersection in Shepparton from next week.
In Summary
Works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 28 January and conclude Friday 31 January 2025, with works to be undertaken between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm, weather permitting.
The two areas of rectification works are the right hand turning lane, from Andrew Fairley Avenue into the SPC factory entrance, and the right hand turning lane from Old Dookie Road, towards Andrew Fairley Avenue.
Vehicle traffic will continue to flow in all directions guided by traffic controllers at restricted speed during this time. Minor delays are to be expected in this area with community to consider taking alternate travel routes, where possible.
Access to businesses and properties will be maintained during the works and the community are asked to take care and be aware of the traffic changes in place.
Road users and pedestrians are requested to comply with all on site signage, pedestrian traffic signals and direction provided by traffic controllers.
Council appreciates the community's patience and cooperation during these rectification works.
