Following the riverine flooding event in October 2022, the Lenne Street drainage catchment in Mooroopna was severely impacted. Council has identified improvement opportunities for the existing stormwater drainage network to mitigate the rain event issues in the area during sudden heavy downpours. The project has been split into stage 1 and 2 for the delivery of the stormwater drainage improvements for the community. Click here for more information.
Council is inviting the residents in Lenne Street and surrounding roads (shown within the blue boundary on the photo on the right) to attend an information drop-in session for an update on the project and to ask any questions.
The drop-in session will be held on Monday 13 January from 5.00pm to 6.30pm at the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre (MEAC), 23 Alexandra Street, Mooroopna. Residents are welcome to drop-in during this timeframe.
