The Hon. Jaala Pulford, Minister for Employment, Small Business and Innovation, Medical Research and the Digital Economy, paid a visit to the new Shepparton Art Museum building on Thursday to view the progress.
Minister Pulford was provided with a guided tour to all levels of the building and spent some time talking to local contractors working on the project.
Local contractors including Michael Hatton Landscapes, Watters Electrical, SibWeld, J&S Iaria Concrete and Jarvis Delahey met with Minister Pulford to talk about the boost the project has provided to their businesses.
The contractors explained their roles on the project and discussed the work they have been involved in. Video interviews on local contractors can be found on the website.
Also in attendance was the Mayor, Cr Kim O'Keeffe, Chair of SAM Ltd, Stephen Merrylees, Regional Director Hume Regional Development, Matt Nelson and Greater Shepparton City Council CEO, Peter Harriott.
