Local businesses invited to put their best offer forward for 2026 Victorian State H.O.G. Rally visitors

Council is encouraging local businesses to submit visitor offers to enhance the rally experience and encourage spending across the region during the event.
Successful business offers will be promoted through event marketing, including a visitor guide, digital content, webpages, direct email communication with attendees and event flyers.
Applications for business offers close at 11.59pm on Monday 23 February 2026, with submissions available via Council’s online application form.

The rally will take place from Friday 6 March to Monday 9 March 2026 and is expected to generate strong economic activity across Greater Shepparton, including Shepparton, Tatura, Toolamba and Dookie.

Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said major events like the H.O.G. State Rally play an important role in supporting the local economy.

“Major events contribute more than $60 million each year directly into the Greater Shepparton economy and the H.O.G. Rally is a great example of how visitation can benefit businesses right across our region,” he said.

“We know visitors are keen to explore, eat locally and discover what makes Greater Shepparton special. Local business offers help turn that interest into real foot traffic and spending.”

“A thoughtful offer paired with good service and local storytelling can turn a one-off visit into a memorable experience. That’s how businesses build lasting connections that extend beyond the event weekend.”

Council is encouraging businesses across Greater Shepparton to submit simple and welcoming incentives that enhance the visitor experience and encourage people to step inside and spend locally.

Offers could include a percentage discount, a spend-and-receive deal, a set-price meal, a complimentary item with purchase or a limited-time experience tailored to rally visitors. The event has an exciting program in place with visits to our smaller towns, so businesses are encouraged to tailor their offering to ensure a positive outcome for their business.

All offers will be considered and successful offers will be promoted through an event-specific visitor guide, digital content and webpages, direct email links shared with H.O.G. Rally attendees and a flyer distributed during the event.
