Greater Shepparton parents and guardians wishing to register children for Kindergarten for 2021 have until the end of August to register.
Kindergarten registrations will close on 31 August 2020, while pre-Kindergarten registrations will be open until 30 September 2020.
Council encourages those registering children in Kindergarten and pre-Kindergarten to use the online form on Council’s website.
Residents would usually be able to visit local kindergartens prior to registration, however, with COVID-19 restrictions in place, parents and guardians can visit Council’s website for any information. Council also welcomes phone calls to talk through the process with parents and answer any questions.
Council reminds residents the Victorian Government funds one year of kindergarten (year before school) for each eligible child.
Council organises kindergarten registration for most funded kindergarten programs in Greater Shepparton. Registration forms are available on Council’s website.
For more information contact Council on 03 5832 9807 or visit Council’s website here.
Council reminds parents and guardians while requests for particular centres are taken into account, this cannot always be guaranteed. In this scenario, a place can be accepted at an alternative centre, or, those registering can choose to wait and see if a space at their preferred centre becomes available.
