Greater Shepparton City Council is inviting local organisations, schools, community groups and event organisers to submit their event for inclusion in the official Youth Fest 2025 program, running from 1 to 30 September.
In Summary
Council is seeking inclusive, youth-focused events that reflect the creativity and diversity of young people aged 12 to 25. Events may include workshops, performances, cultural celebrations, forums, recreational activities or anything that brings young people together in a positive and meaningful way.
Successful applicants will have their events featured in the official Youth Fest 2025 program and promoted across the region through Council’s digital channels, local schools, youth organisations, community venues, and more.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encouraged local groups to get involved.
“Youth Fest is a chance to celebrate young people and give them more opportunities to connect, express themselves, and feel part of the community,” he said.
“We encourage local organisations to take part by submitting an application to have their event included in the program.”
Council’s Director Community, Louise Mitchell, said this is a valuable opportunity for local groups to connect with young people and support their participation in community life.
“Whether you are a school, service provider or local club, Youth Fest is a chance to connect with young people in a meaningful way,” she said.
“Even a small event can have a big impact. If you are planning something in September, this is your opportunity to help young people feel seen, supported, and part of their community.”
Applications must be submitted via the Greater Shepparton Youth Fest 2025 webpage before midnight on Monday 7 July 2025.
