Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise the community of upcoming concrete footpath renewal works along the south side of Nixon Street in Shepparton, between Maude and Wyndham Streets.
In Summary
The works will commence on Monday 5 August 2024 and are anticipated to be completed over a two week duration, between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Saturday to minimise disruption to adjoining businesses.
Motorists and pedestrians can expect footpath closures on the south side of Nixon Street, from Maude Street to Wyndham Street. Access to businesses within the works area will be maintained throughout the works.
Motorists and pedestrians are asked to obey all on site signage and direction provided by traffic controllers during the works, as there will be speed reductions in this location, as well as closed parking bays.
Council requests that businesses, residents, motorists and the community take additional care when travelling in this area during these works.
