Road and Facility Closures

The following roads, paths, and facilities are closed due to flooding:

Closed Roads

Check the VicTraffic website for road closures across the state

Closed Paths

The shared paths previously closed have now been reopened.

Closed Council Facilities and Services

Aquamoves has reopened
KidsTown has reopened
Botanical Gardens is closed until further notice
Parks and Reserves
Parks Victoria have indicated all parks are now closed. This includes:
- Arcadia Streamside Reserve
- Shepparton Regional Park
- Lower Goulburn National Park
- Gemmill Swamp Wildlife Reserve
- Loch Garry Wildlife Reserve and Kanyapella Reserve
Victoria Park Lake Caravan Park has reopened

Sandbags

All sandbagging sites have now closed.

You can check your flood levels and assess your flood risk by visiting the local Flood Intelligence Portal.

How to Prepare

🏡 Residents can view the GBCMA Flood Intelligence Portal or the VICSES website to see a guide of how flooding may affect their property, and how to stay safe.

In any emergency, it pays to be prepared in advance:

🍎💊 Make sure you have enough food, prescription medications, and supplies to last you a few days.
👪 Check in on any neighbours or family who might need help.
🌳⚠️ Don’t park or camp under trees. Wet ground and stormy weather can cause trees and branches to fall.
🐍⚠️ Floods can force snakes and other wildlife out of their natural habitat. Be careful near flooded areas.
🦟⚠️ Mosquitos breed in stagnant water. Protect yourself from mosquitos by covering up and using personal insect repellent.
