Greater Shepparton City Council, in partnership with the Falcon GT Club of Victoria and the Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE), is revving up to host the highly anticipated 2025 Falcon GT Nationals from Thursday 13 March to Sunday 16 March 2025.
In Summary
The iconic gathering promises an unforgettable experience for car enthusiasts, families, and the wider community, with this year marking the special 40 year anniversary of the event. The event is set to draw over 400 entrants, along with their families and partners, and an estimated 4,000 public spectators over the four days. This will have an economic impact exceeding $1.8 million, a significant boost for the Greater Shepparton region.
The event schedule is filled with highlights over the four days, including The 20th Falcon GT Nationals Concours at MOVE on Saturday 15 March, featuring every Falcon GT model from the 1967 XR GT to the 2014 FG GTF, open to the public from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
On Sunday 16 March, Greater Shepparton residents can look forward to the “Gather Tourer” super cruise in Shepparton’s town centre from 10.00am to midday, offering the community a unique opportunity to admire these incredible vehicles up close. The day concludes with the Presentation Dinner at Riverlinks Eastbank.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, expressed his excitement for the event.
“We are thrilled to welcome the 2025 Falcon GT Nationals to Shepparton. This is not just a celebration of Australia’s automotive heritage but also an incredible opportunity for our region to shine on the national stage,” he said.
“Events like this bring significant economic benefits to our visitor economy, and it is wonderful to see our local businesses and community embracing the Nationals. We look forward to seeing Shepparton come alive with the roar of these iconic vehicles.”
