The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) has made arrangements for the Greater Shepparton City Council Countback to fill the current vacant Councillor role.
A vacancy has occurred in Greater Shepparton City Council due to the resignation of Councillor Kim O'Keeffe on Monday 28 November 2022.
The vacancy will be filled through a countback of all the votes from the last general election held in October 2020. It will include all remaining eligible candidates who were not elected at the general election.
The Countback will be held on Monday 16 January 2023 at 10am.
The VEC will be hosting the Countback online, where everyone will be able to view the livestream from any device.
The VEC will publish the link to the live stream on their website at 9:30am on Monday 16 January 2023.
Further information can be found on the VEC website
