Community Satisfaction Surveys taking place in Greater Shepparton
Posted on
Thursday 4th of December, 2025,
Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts on Greater Shepparton City Council and its services through the second quarter Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey.
In Summary
Community Satisfaction Surveys will take place in Greater Shepparton from Sunday 7 to Saturday 13 December.
Surveys are being conducted face-to-face by research company Thinkfield on behalf of Council.
Initial telephone surveys have already been completed with randomly selected residents aged 18 and over.
All responses are deidentified and will be used to assess Council’s performance and improve service delivery.
Greater Shepparton City Council is reminding residents that face-to-face surveys are taking place in the region from Sunday 7 December to Saturday 13 December, as part of the Local Government Community Satisfaction Survey.
Research resource company Thinkfield is conducting the surveys, which are a useful way for Council to understand whether it is meeting community expectations for the services it provides.
Thinkfield conducted an initial number of surveys by Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing, with Greater Shepparton residents aged 18+ selected at random to take part. Thinkfield will now conduct the in-person surveys in Greater Shepparton, with residents encouraged to take part if they are approached over the coming days.
Council’s Director Corporate Services, Chris Teitzel, said all responses are deidentified and are grouped with others.
“The surveys are a useful tool for Council to gather feedback directly from residents. We want to know what they think of Council’s performance and service to ensure we are continually improving our delivery to the community,” he said.
“Residents can be assured that if they are approached in person to take part in the survey, it is legitimate and is being conducted on behalf of Council.”
