Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise that the All Abilities Playground at Victoria Park Lake in Shepparton will be closed for maintenance for a period of two weeks, from Monday 19 May 2025.
In Summary
The playground and public toilets within the compound will be closed to the public during this time to allow Council to undertake routine maintenance.
The works are expected to be completed by 5pm on Monday 2 June, weather permitting.
Council’s Manager Parks, Sport and Recreation, Janelle Bunfield, said the playground was a popular spot in the community which Council strive to maintain to a high standard.
“Council recognises the inconvenience caused while these maintenance works are undertaken, however we need to ensure our facilities are maintained to the best standard for residents and visitors,” she said.
“This work is part of Council’s annual renewals program and will ensure the playground is safe, maintained and looking its best.”
The All Abilities Playground provides a range of play opportunities for children and families of all abilities. The playground is designed and maintained with access as a key priority.
