Greater Shepparton City Council has officially launched its Activities in the Park Summer program, which will run from December 2024 until February 2025 featuring a line-up of exciting activities across Greater Shepparton.
In Summary
The program provides an opportunity for Greater Shepparton residents and visitors to participate in a number of free and low cost activities, encouraging people to be outdoors and get active.
More than 65 activities are on offer for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy, providing a great opportunity to utilise the well-established parks, pools and outdoor spaces in the region.
This season's program offers a mix of beloved favourites and exciting new activities. Highlights include Underwater Hockey, Stand-up Paddle boarding, Futsal, Messy Play, Giant Games, Aqua Aerobics, and much more.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, encourages people of all ages and abilities to get active in our local parks and facilities this summer and to participate in the many free activities included in this program.
“I encourage residents and visitors to the region to look over the program, invite their friends and attend some of the activities that are on offer. The activities are open for everyone, so come along and enjoy being active in the outdoors,” he said.
“This year’s Summer program is all about bringing people together, being active and enjoying all that our region has to offer.”
For updates on the activities, residents and visitors can get their copy of the program flyer by visiting the Activities in the Park website or following Activities in the Park on Facebook and Instagram.
