Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the quality of nominations received this year was exceptional, highlighting community members’ contributions towards the preservation of our region’s cultural heritage.
“Our cultural heritage is about more than maintaining buildings. It is about conserving our unique identity, ensuring our children can learn about their history and helping us build from the past to make a better future for all,” he said.
“We would love for people to attend the awards ceremony and celebrate those who have contributed towards our region’s heritage.”
