ANZAC Day Services in Greater Shepparton
ANZAC Day is one of Australia's most important national commemorative occasions. It marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.

Lest We Forget.
Shepparton
- 5.45amAssemble at the Victoria Hotel, cnr of Wyndham and Fryers Streets.
- 5.50amForm Up and March departs.
- 6am Dawn Service at Memorial Park.
- 6.30am Conclusion of service, followed by Gunfire Breakfast. Eggs and bacon rolls $2 + complementary tea, coffee and juice until 9am. All proceeds go to the 2025 ANZAC Appeal.
- 10.20am Congregate in Shepparton RSL carpark. Bus available for those unable to march.
- 10.40am Parade departs RSL for Memorial Park along Welsford St.
- 11am Service commences.
- 11.30am Conclusion of service.
Please note, due to renovations, Shepparton RSL is unable to hold traditional light lunch in the function room. The Diggers Bistro will be open for regular $15.50 lunch menu and full bistro menu. Bookings are essential: 5820 4100.
Although seating will be provided for veterans, we ask you to please bring your own chairs if you would like to be seated throughout either service.
Mooroopna
- 8.30am Congregate in front of water tower
- 8.45am March to Memorial Park
- 9am Service commences
- 9.30am Conclusion of service.
Tatura
- 6.15am Dawn Service commences at Mactier Gardens, Tatura.
- Service followed by Gunfire Breakfast with free bacon and egg rolls.
- 10.45amMarch departs from Stuart Mock Place, Tatura, down Hogan Street toward Mactier Gardens.
- 11am Service at Mactier Gardens, followed by sausage sizzle provided by Tatura Lions and RSL Sub-Branch.
Undera
- 11amUndera Primary School.
- As there will be limited seating, please bring a chair. Refreshments will be available at the Undera Hotel following the service.
Merrigum
- 9.50amGather.
- 10am Commemorative service. Merrigum hall,. Morrissey St.
Kyabram (Campaspe Shire)
- 9.53amMarch begins. Memorial Gardens and Memorial Park, Allan St.
- 10am Service begins. Kyabram RSL. Lions and Rotary clubs to provide refreshments. Community groups and the public are welcome to lay wreaths during the service. Allan St will be closed between Saunders St and Goddard St for the duration of the ceremony with detours in place from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Tongala (Campaspe Shire)
- 6.30amDawn Service. Tongala RSL. Breakfast will be provided afterwards.
- 9.45amMarch begins. Starting at the RSL hall and ending at the Tongala public hall.
- 10am Commemorative service. Tongala public hall. Light lunch will be served afterwards. A gold coin donation is appreciated.
Girgarre (Campaspe Shire)
- 5.45amGather at cenotaph, along Station St.
- 6am Dawn Service. Following the service a gunfire breakfast will be held at the Girgarre sub-branch. The RSL is also hosting a noon bowls and golf competition
Stanhope (Campaspe Shire)
- Sunday, 27 April at 2pmCenotaph, Birdwood Ave.
- The Shepparton 319 Squadron cadets will take part in the catafalque party.
- The service will then head into the Stanhope RSL where attendees will hear from Matilda Salter about her experience walking the Kokoda Trail last year.
Rushworth (Campaspe Shire)
- 5.45amDawn service. War memorial at High St median strip.
- 9.50am Assemble
- 10am Commemorative service
