Phoenix is a handsome Border Collie with a brilliant mind, a loving heart, and energy to spare! 🐕✨ This sweet boy absolutely adores people and forms strong bonds with his family, so he's looking for a home where he can be a true companion.
Like many Border Collies, Phoenix is incredibly intelligent and thrives when he has a job to do. He will need a home that can provide plenty of mental enrichment, training, and physical exercise every day to keep his busy mind engaged. A large, secure yard is a must, and a rural lifestyle would be ideal for this active boy. 🌾🚜
Phoenix is very food motivated and takes his meals seriously! 😋 A slow feeder is recommended to help him eat at a safer pace. Due to his enthusiasm around food, Phoenix will need to be separated from children and other animals during mealtimes, and he is best suited to a home without young children. Phoenix is not suitable for a home with cats. 🐱

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
