Angus is a gorgeous 1-year-old Heeler x Red Merle pup with the softest soul. At first, he’s a little shy and unsure of the world around him, but give him a bit of time, and you’ll see his true, sweet nature shine through. Once he trusts you, he’ll jump up for cuddles and lean in close just to be near you 🥰.
He’s still learning that people can be kind and safe, so Angus is looking for a calm, patient home where he can take things at his own pace. He’s great with other dogs 🐶 and would love a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes. With slow introductions, he may even be okay with cats 🐱 he just needs the right guidance and a little time.
Angus is still working on his leash skills, so a secure harness and gentle encouragement will go a long way in building his confidence 🚶♂️💖.

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
