Parker is a 2 year old, male, Kelpie X. He is an energetic and intelligent young boy who is ready to find his forever home! At 2 years old, he’s already making great progress in training—he loves food, making him easy to train, and he knows how to sit on command. Parker has a playful nature and enjoys toys, but even more, he loves receiving pats and attention from his humans.
Parker gets along well with polite, well-mannered dogs but would not be suited to a home with cats. He is a bit timid and would thrive in a calm, patient home with no young children, where he can be given space when needed.
With his high energy, Parker will need a family who can offer him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. If you're looking for a smart, loving companion who will bond deeply with you and need some extra understanding, Parker might just be the perfect match!

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
