Gowrie Park Kindergarten - Greater Shepparton City Council

Gowrie Park is a small rural Kindergarten in Tatura with a large outdoor open playground that has unique play spaces for children to learn and explore. Our program is enhanced by the nature reserve next door to the Kindergarten that we can explore.

The program is child-centred, focused on the interests and curiosity of the children to guide the learning. We offer incursions and excursions for the children, including a regular bush kinder program run during term 2 and 3. We offer planned open-ended experiences for learning that includes group learning opportunities with both teacher and child initiated learning, spontaneous learning opportunities and teacher directed learning. We promote each child’s uniqueness and support them to thrive as individuals.

We work closely with the local primary schools to build connections and supports for the children and families in the year before the children start school.

All of our educators hold qualifications ranging from Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Early Childhood.
